The purpose of the grant was to fund architectural plans for an accessible entrance to the library building. What is our local architectural history? How can that history be preserved while meeting the current and future needs of library patrons? The tour will also explore why certain styles became popular, what those styles represented to the people who first used them, and how historic preservation can maintain the functionality of a building.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Historic Architecture Walking Tour will be led by Allison Paprocki. You can meet Allison at Porter Memorial Library on Saturday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m., or at 12:00 noon.
