Free tax preparation & filing at the library with an IRS-certified AARP volunteer. For low to moderate income taxpayers. Call the library to sign up 207-255-3933.
Bring SSN, photo ID, 2024 tax form, all documents related to 2025 income and possible deductions (such as property tax paid, rental info, etc). If direct deposit, bring bank account info. If married filing jointly, both taxpayers must be present.
AARP Tax-Aide sessions are available at other sites in the region, ask for details.
